I put “Goodbye and Hello” on my vision board earlier this year because there was something I desperately wanted to call into my life. Something that felt like it would take my business to the next level. Something that felt like the perfect way to formally pivot my career in the direction of my dreams. Something that would allow me to CLAIM my role as a personal growth expert, mindfulness teacher, and transformational healer. Something that just “felt right.” ๐ท
And I am still pinching myself because “that something” came true.
As of yesterday, I officially said GOODBYE to my corporate life and HELLO to getting my masters in Clinical Psychology from the Spirituality Mind Body Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University and being a fulltime entrepreneur. As someone whose favorite slumber party game was “Truth and Truth” (instead of “Truth or Dare”๐), I can’t even begin to express how excited I am to be diving headfirst into a career centered around the understanding of life and our place in it. To me, nothing is more rewarding than helping people live their best life. To help them heal old wounds, overcome their fears, stand up for themselves, ditch the “shoulds,” trust the Universe, love deeply, tap into their intuition, and follow their dreams. ๐ซ
THIS is my dream. And it’s becoming my reality.
I feel so beyond blessed for this next leg in my journey. As I reflect on the past 8 years in corporate, I am filled with so much gratitude for all of the incredible people that have helped me get to where I am today. Thank you ALL for being the best. I could not have asked for more amazing mentors and colleagues that I am lucky enough to call lifelong friends. You all mean the world to me. ๐
And I would not have made this leap without the incredible love and support from SO many people, especially my loving husband Andrew Lee!, who believed in my vision even before I could put words to it. Thank you all for being that little birdie on my shoulder whispering: “you can do this.” ๐ฆ
