Do you spend too much time and energy worrying about what other people think?⚡️
Me too. I tend to replay scenarios over and over in my head wondering:
-Did I say the wrong thing?
-Was I being unreasonable?
-Will they think I’m stupid?
-Am I being too sensitive?
-Was I too self-centered?
-Did I upset them?
Bottom line: I have a deep fear of being judged. 🔥
The worst part about falling into the judgement trap is it gives all of your power away to the other person/people. Suddenly you believe all the awful things your inner critic is telling you about what someone may or may not be thinking. 🥀
When you feel like you are getting wrapped up in the sea of “what ifs,” remind yourself that you can’t control how someone else thinks about you. All you can do is stay focused on being true to yourself. There’s nothing else your soul people would want you to do. 🦋
